Right now, he’d much rather be with his humans than in a crate, so we’re continuing to help him see it as a safe place. Every day brings another little victory.

Otto has all the ingredients that make an amazing lifelong companion:

Young and active

plays a bit “over the top” (kinda rough) so needs an equally matched but friendly dog or his humans.

Fun-loving

Affectionate

Intelligent

Ready for adventures—or a movie night on the couch after a good walk.

The question we keep asking is...

Why hasn’t anyone come to meet this incredible boy?

Could his perfect family be seeing him for the first time today?

Please share Otto. Sometimes one share is all it takes to change a dog’s life.

Recycled Best Friends's Adoption Policy
Our standard adoption fees are $250.00, this could vary based on breed. We have a standard application process for both fostering and adoption to ensure the best match for our dogs and families. • All applicants must complete an application, which includes questions, a veterinary reference, and two personal references. • Once submitted, an application reviewer will carefully evaluate the information and contact both the veterinary and personal references. • After the review is complete, the Director will follow up with the applicant directly to discuss the application in more detail. • The Director will then determine approval status and help match the applicant with the dog that best fits their home and lifestyle. As part of the process, approved applicants are required to attend a meet-and-greet with all household members—including current dogs—to ensure a safe and successful match.
