Otto's Story

Meet Otto!
Meet Otto, a 1-year-old, 50 lb terrier mix who looks like he stuck his face in a bucket of whipped cream and decided to keep the look! With his signature white face and expressive personality, he’s impossible not to love.
Otto may have had a rough start after being dumped, but you’d never guess it from his sweet, people-loving nature. This affectionate guy is happiest right by your side—whether you’re heading out for a walk or settling in for some couch time. He’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly.
He’s also the undefeated champion of toy de-stuffing—no plush toy stands a chance! But what he lacks in toy longevity, he more than makes up for in personality, love, and entertainment.
Otto is still working on his manners, but he’s already off to a great start. He walks nicely on leash, does well in his crate, and isn’t shy about letting you know when it’s time for a potty break—he’s quite the communicator. He’s eager to learn and will thrive with continued guidance and consistency.
He loves to play, explore, and be part of whatever you’re doing. While he hasn’t been fully tested with other dogs yet, slow and thoughtful introductions (or being your one-and-only) would be the best path forward for now.
If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion with a big personality, a soft heart, and a talent for turning toys into confetti, Otto is ready to bring joy—and maybe a little fluff—into your life 💛 https://hsforbc.org/meet-and-greet/
