Meet Otis!<br/>This handsome 6-month-old Lab mix came to Boonville Animal Control Shelter on November 26, 2025, scared, hungry, and unsure of the world. With love and patience, Otis has truly blossomed—he’s come out of his shell and now greets each day with tail-wagging excitement.<br/><br/>Otis is full of playful puppy energy and would thrive with an active family who can give him plenty of attention, exercise, and continued training. He absolutely loves to run and play with other dogs and makes friends easily. He’s definitely mixed with something besides Lab, but we’re not quite sure what—whatever it is, it gave him an adorable, joyful personality!<br/><br/>Even though he’s being well cared for, Otis told us he hopes he won’t have to spend Christmas at the shelter.
