Osito Polar (Oso)'s Story

Oso was just a small pup when he came into care in March 2013. It was clear that he was special and that he needed help or his life could end. His people didn't want him and had planned to have him put down, this makes me sad.
Oso was born with club feet, he can walk and will bouncy like any other puppy when he is excited but he will never run a marathon. His biggest challenge is not his feet it is his fearfulness of anything new, but we are working on it an he is really doing pretty well.
He loves other dogs and will play with them if they want to but is not pushy at all. He has been known to pester cat's but is a great listener and will likely stop this behavior. Kids frighten him so a family that does not have small, busy children would be best. He needs a home that understands his needs and is willing to work with him to gain his confidence. Once he trusts, he will happily be by your side or sitting on your feet. He is out and about everyday so that he can learn that his new world is a safe place to be.
Oso is very loving and affectionate. Loves his walk and is doing well on leash. He comes with his health records and we did have him assessed by a vet in BC as well. If you have a calm home and want a new best friend, his is your guy.

Applications for Osito Polar can be found on our website www.mexpup.com
home checks are required prior to adoption
