OSITA's Story
OSITA Kennel Card: 07212025A-D2

Osita is a 50 lb, 2-year-old female petite Husky with a calm and graceful personality. This athletic beauty was found as a stray by Delano Animal Control and has been waiting for her forever home at the Delano Animal Shelter since July 21, 2025.

Osita has been tested with both male and female dogs and did well. She’s more on the reserved side, enjoying the company of other dogs without the high-energy antics of puppies. Osita is a chill girl who loves soaking up the sun and relaxing rather than tussling—perfect for a family looking for a calm companion.

Osita is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations, including DAPP and rabies. She’s ready to find a loving home where she can relax, snuggle, and enjoy life at her own pace.

At the time it is unknown if she is house/crate trained. Dogs are NOT tested with children and cats; her behavior towards children and cats is unknown. She is available for adoption/rescue as of 7-26-25. If you are interested in adopting her, please contact the Delano Animal Shelter or inquire below on Petfinder for more information. If this is your dog, contact the shelter as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please call 661-720-2244 or e-mail us at acontrol@cityofdelano.org
