Oscar & Ollie bonded pair's Story
I am Oscar the Red (to standout from all of those OTHER Oscars out there), with my bonded brother Ollie! Born in the same litter, we are now 9 years old. We came to DAFR via a kind lady who took us after Ollie was being picked on by another dog in our long time original home.

DAFR has been fantastic getting us ready for our future home. We had our senior panel & vaccinations done. During the examination, the vet discovered our stinky mouths were full of disgustingly rotten teeth. We both had to say buh-bye to every single tooth. Unlike me though, Ollie’s tongue constantly hangs out.

As I said, we are bonded and have never been apart. We do EVERYTHING together. We go outside for our business, share our bowls with each other, and even sleep tangled around each other.

Hey Oscar, it’s my turn to talk!

Fine Ollie…go ahead.

So, my bro Oscar is a handsome smooth red dapple. I’m a fluffy, snuggly diluted red dapple longhair. Unlike Oscar, I ended up with some of the weird dapple genes. I already have some blindness, plus only one real nail found on my back foot. The rest, including the dewclaws, just don’t exist. Weird, huh?! The vet also said I constantly sneeze because the insides of my nostrils aren’t normal, and I bark like a seal.

Our requirement demands.
We must stay together! Ramps to protect our backs. Sleeping in the big bed so we can snuggle with everyone. Softened food, including some veggies and fruit. Big yard to go exploring. Must be a house since we both have very loud voices. And finally, lots and lots of love…and treats!

If interested in the sweet bonded pair, please fill out an application which is available on our website. The boys are currently being Fostered in the San Diego area.

Please submit an application at our website.

https://www.dachshundsandfriends.org/looking-to-adopt
