ORVILLE's Story

Please meet Orville and read what his foster has to say about him.

Orville has been an excellent foster. I've fostered maybe 9-10 dogs and he's been one of the easier ones. Orville settled in fairly quickly with our dog Panda to help him. He would really benefit from having another dog around as he constantly checks in with Panda for behavior cues and is much more confident with him around. He would also really benefit from constant exercise as he has a lot of puppy tendencies and energy. He gets at least 1.5 hours of walks in a day, plus a 2-4 mile hike or 3-5 mile bike ride every other day. Laura works from home so he's hardly alone but he was crated for about 4-5 hours while we were out for Thanksgiving with no issue. Now that he's getting comfortable in the house he's starting to counter surf and open cabinets.

He deals well with things outside the house, but he is not always as welcoming to visitors to the home initially. He would probably do best if there were not a lot of visitors coming and going. For the most part, we find him absolutely delightful with us and our dog.

If you would like to meet this adventurous guy, please submit an application for him.
