Orion's Story

Meet Orion!

Orion is an almost 2.5-year-old pup who brings both entertainment and heart wherever he goes. His playful antics keep his foster family laughing, whether he’s tossing around his toys or romping with his dog friends. He loves having a good time and starts his mornings with a burst of energy, but after some play, he settles down nicely and enjoys just hanging out.

He’s a great little "watchdog," always alerting when one of his doggie friends gets left outside, and he does well both playing independently and with others. Orion is crate trained (though it’s not his favorite spot) and has proven he can be trusted when left out at home. He’s mostly house trained and continuing to improve every day.

Underneath his fun, playful personality, Orion has a gentle, timid side. He takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he feels safe, his sweet and loyal nature really shines through. He hasn’t been around cats or very small children yet, so a patient home willing to give him time and space to build confidence would be ideal.

Orion is the perfect mix of goofy and gentle—and for the right person, he’s going to be an incredibly special companion

To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
