Oreo's Story

Oreo has had a lot of changes in his life recently. After arriving at Foothills from one of our transfer partners, this sensitive boy has been doing his best to navigate the stress and uncertainty of shelter life. He can be a bit insecure at first, but once he feels safe, his playful, fun personality begins to shine.
Our volunteers describe Oreo as a very gentle soul. Initially timid, once outside he relaxes, becoming attentive and engaged. He enjoys his walks, leans in for soft petting, and loves nothing more than rolling blissfully in the grass.

We expect Oreo will need a little time to settle into a new routine, and he'll thrive with a family that approaches him with patience, understanding, and kindness. But once he's comfortable, we think he could become the walking, hiking, or even jogging companion you've been hoping to find. He will be placed in a home without children(or with children 10+). Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 54.6lbs Age: 4yrs 0mths 2wks Animal has been Neutered Adoption Fees: $200
