Oreo is a 2 year old Border Collie mix who came to us through no fault of his own after his owner could no longer care for him due to health reasons. He's a super sweet boy who absolutely loves heading out on walks and outings with our volunteers! Oreo enjoys staying active and would be thrilled to join his future family on adventures, walks, and fun outings, while still knowing how to enjoy downtime. He has just the right amount of energy and would be more than happy to be spoiled in a loving forever home of his very own.<br/><br/>He has not shown any dog reactivity and has lived with another dog in the past, so there's a good chance Oreo could enjoy having a dog sibling in his new home (with proper introductions, of course). Oreo is a medical adoption, and our knowledgeable vet staff will be happy to go over everything you need to know and answer any questions to ensure a smooth transition.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion to share life's adventures with, Oreo might be your perfect match!<br/><br/>At the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, our goal is to match potential adopters with a pet that is best suited to their home, interests, and lifestyle.
