Oreo's Story

Oreo is an extra dog-friendly, high-energy boy who absolutely loves being around other dogs. He would do great in a home with canine companions or with people who can provide plenty of playtime, exercise, and mental stimulation. Oreo does show interest in cats, so slow introductions and supervision would be important if cats are present. He is kennel trained and is comfortable settling in his crate when needed. Oreo is a very hyper, active dog and will need an active home that can meet his energy level with regular exercise and structured outlets. Because of this, we would not recommend him as an apartment dog—he will do best in a home with space to move and owners who enjoy an active lifestyle. Oreo does have some food aggression and needs to be fed alone. Hand feeding and consistent routines will help build trust and improve his manners around food. With clear boundaries and patience, this is very manageable. Overall, Oreo is a fun, energetic, and social dog who will thrive with the right structure and activity. In an environment that meets his needs, he has the potential to be a loyal and loving companion.
