Oreo's Story
Meet Oreo

Oreo just arrived, and we're still getting to know this handsome boy but what we've seen so far is incredibly sweet.

At 1 year old and about 45 lbs, this young Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) is gentle at heart, just a little unsure of the world right now. When meeting new people, Oreo is shy and cautious. He prefers a slow approach and time to observe before deciding you're safe.

The beautiful part? Once you sit quietly with him, you can see his curiosity take over. He'll slowly inch closer, gently take treats from your hand, and begin to build trust. After spending some time together, he followed along in the yard, sat politely for treats, and stayed near. You just have to move calmly and avoid sudden motions, as quick hand movements can startle him.

Oreo is the kind of dog who will bond deeply with someone patient and kind. With consistency, positive reinforcement, and a calm environment, he has so much potential to blossom into a loyal, devoted companion.

About Oreo
Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler)
1 year old
45 lbs
Sweet but shy at first
Treat-motivated
Gains confidence with patience and gentle handling

Oreo would do best in a home that understands herding breeds and is willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel secure.
