Meet Oreo! -Oreo is about 2 years old and weighs about 10 lbs. We think he looks like a Chihuahua/Scruffy Terrier Mix (Just a Guess). Oreo came to Canines & Kitties from a hoarding situation. He is a very shy and timid dog who will require time and patience when he moves to his forever home. Oreo is learning to trust and has come a long way in his foster home in just a week. Oreo will need a calm and quiet environment as he learns that life isn't so scary. Oreo will need a home with another small (25 lbs and under) young and confident dog. Oreo will also require a secured fenced in yard as he is a flight risk at the moment. We feel this will subside over time as he settles in. Oreo is house trained and sleeps in the bed at night with his foster mom and the resident dog. Oreo is respectful and has wonderful house manners. He does not need to be crated. Oreo is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Oreo's adoption fee is $375.00. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CK Rescue*** ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care.
