Oreo's Story

Oreo is 3 years old and weighs 16 lbs. He is a Sato, a Puerto Rican street dog known for their resilience, intelligence, and big hearts. Oreo is still adjusting to life as an indoor pet after living outdoors, but his gentle and noble nature shines through every day.

He is incredibly sweet and kind, with soulful eyes that seem to tell his story. Oreo does well with dogs and cats and is working on crate, leash, and potty training in his foster home. He is a quiet, lower energy guy and he loves nothing more than to cuddle up next to his person on the couch. He just needs a patient, loving family who will make him feel safe and cherished for the rest of his life. Once he settles in he will happily romp around and play with toys and his true personality come out. He is also much smaller than he appears in photos and is just a small guy, so would be a great fit for any home.

Oreo is being fostered in Crofton, MD.

***If you’re interested in scheduling a meet and greet, please fill out an adoption application at: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CPAR/Dog ****

-------------------------------------

PLEASE READ:

Any dog that is "house/potty trained" will still need patience in a new home, new people and new schedule.
