Oreo's Story

Meet Oreo!

Oreo's story is one of resilience. At 9 years old, this little chi has already been through more than his fair share. He was taken to the shelter when his family moved and couldn't take him along. Originally given as a “gift,” he sadly wasn't treated like one. But here's the truth: Oreo is a gift - but to the right person.

Personality

Oreo is your classic chihuahua through and through: fiercely loyal to his person, and not a fan of anyone else. His bond runs deep and strong, and once you're in his circle, you're in for life. That said, he takes guarding his person seriously, which can make new introductions and vet visits difficult (he currently needs sedation for exams).

What Oreo Needs

We're looking for an adopter who understands his quirks and is committed to helping him thrive. With the right home, the right support, and a whole lot of love, Oreo has the chance to finally live the happy, stable life he deserves.

If you think you're the one who can give Oreo his forever, unwavering home, we'd love to hear from you.
