Oreo's Story

Oreo is an almost 11-year-old female who has spent most of her life as a cherished family dog. Loving, loyal, and affectionate, Oreo is happiest when she's close to her people-following you from room to room, curling up nearby, and quietly keeping you company. She enjoys going outside, heading out for walks, and playing a game of fetch (even if she prefers the "keep away" part of the game).

Oreo can be a little nervous when first meeting new people, especially adult men, but with a bit of time and patience, she warms up and shows her sweet, devoted nature. She does best when she feels safe and settled, and once she does, she's incredibly gentle and loving. Oreo is house- and kennel-trained, has good manners, and does well with kids. She's looking for a calm, understanding home where she can enjoy her golden years-and she must go home with her best friend, Brooke, who has been by her side for years.

Oreo and Brooke are a bonded pair and are seeking a home together. They've shared years of life, love, and companionship, and keeping them together will help them transition into this next chapter with confidence and comfort. They're calm, well-mannered, and happiest simply being near their people-and near each other.

If you're looking to open your heart to two loyal companions who already know how to be wonderful dogs, Oreo and Brooke may be the perfect fit.
