Oreo 's Story
Oreo came into the shelter as a stray after being found at a 4H fairground. Nobody came to reclaim this handsome boy, so he's ready to move on. He's around 1 year old, and weighs around 50 pounds. He's neutered and heartworm negative. He has been vaccinated with Distemper, Rabies, and Bordatella. Oreo is an energetic boy who loves running and going on walks. He's very friendly with people, and he's always trying to play with the other dogs through the fencing or on walks at the shelter. However, he had some leash free time with another dog and he had toy aggression. They did so well until the other dog took his toy, then he was not okay with sharing at all, and tackled the other dog. They were perfectly fine again through the fencing immediately after, but he hasn't learned to share. His running mindset also doesn't mesh well with cats, so he'd do best as an only pet, but he's still happy to be around other dogs, just not in a circumstance where they can take his toy. Oreo is ready to continue to learn and to have lots of playtime with his forever family.
