She a black dog, she’s over 50lbs, she had heartworm, and she had about 0% chance of leaving the shelter.... <br/><br/>It’s easy for a pup like Orange Blossom to find her way into the shelter system, but nearly impossible for her to find a way out. There are just way too many variables working against a pup like her. There are just so many pups that look exactly her in the same circumstance, needing the same help. <br/><br/>We like to think bringing these pups into rescue will help highlight them, but the truth is they still struggle to gain attention on the adoption circuit. Orange Blossom is not an exception to this trend. <br/><br/>At 3 years old this girl is finally looking to a start the next chapter of her life. Her social skills are top notch with humans and other pups. Her butt will wiggle and her tail will go a million miles an hour when greeting new friends. Orang Blossom seems to have basic knowledge of skills such as crate, leash and house training. We can’t know for sure if she was once part of someone’s family, but it kind of seems like that could be the case. <br/><br/>This girl is energetic and enjoys burning that energy playing fetch, romping around with canine friends or taking a stroll. She would love a family with a current canine friend or maybe a day or two of daycare during the week. Orange Blossom is very eager to please and is extremely loyal.
