ORA's Story
ORA - is now just over 2 years old, spayed, vaccines up to date and microchipped. She is a beautiful Shepard Mix that is energetic when outdoors, and a cuddly couch potato when indoors.

Her Story: was rescued as a puppy, approximately 2 years ago when she was found along with her siblings in Lebanon. People were threatening to poison them. Her rescuer Hala took them all and placed them in a safe place.

The siblings all found homes except ORA, who then developed pneumonia and was treated. Soon after, she found a home but was given up, as this is typical in Lebanon. Her rescuer Hala never gave up on her, and contacted us for help.

Our team at Rescue Dogs Lebanon-CANADA worked on finding her a good home. We matched her up with an adopter who fell inlove with her and welcomed her home on Jan 2, 2022.

Sadly, less than 2 weeks later, we were asked to re home her, as her adopter was unable to give her the training she needs, and felt that her home was not ideal for her. She lives in a building with people and dogs and was not able to know how to manage this. Being in a building with many people walking by, ORA barks, either to 'protect' her new found happy home that she never had before, or because she wants to play......

ORA is a beautiful, typical, happy and excitable energetic dog. She is also gentle and loving and a couch potato. She does walk well on a leash, however can tend to jump up and want to check out the other dogs and want to play with them. We attached a video to show this.

What ORA needs;
- a committed adopter .
- a home with a fenced backyard for extra play time.
- preferably in the suburbs and not in a building.
- another dog/cats would be ok, proper introduction is a must.
- someone who is willing to invest in basic training

If you are interested in ORA, please copy the 'ADOPTION APPLICATION' below and paste it in your browser, then fill in.

NOTE: we will not contact those who only use the 'Petfinder quick form'

ORA is currently in Quebec City.

Thank you,
Team RDL-C
