This sweet little guy was found wandering the streets, and when his owners were located, they sadly decided not to take him back. But Opie hasn’t let that dim his spirit — he’s ready to start a brand-new chapter with someone who will love him forever.<br/><br/>Opie is a quiet, gentle soul who just wants to be near his people. He’s doing great with both his house and leash training, and he loves sunbathing or curling up for a cozy nap. He’s currently recovering from mild anemia, but he’s improving every day and feeling better with proper care and love.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who will fill your home with warmth (and a bit of adorable fluff), Opie Pom Pom is your guy!<br/><br/>Interested in becoming a forever home for Opie? Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.<br/><br/>We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.<br/><br/>Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.<br/><br/>All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.<br/><br/>Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
