Opie's Story

Opie is shy and scared of new people. He just had a traumatizing experience. He was out 44 days on his own scavenging in survival mode. He is still trying to put on weight. He wags his tail and talks to us and no longer has a delirious state in his eyes. He loves other dogs. He was found by someone after he was on their street a week. Wind blew the fence open. And the other finder contacted us. Everytime he was seen we couldn't go out. Then after 3 weeks of nothing and me feeling sad he showed up. We rushed out and after 6 and a half hours of rebaiting 3 times rotesserie chicken enticed him. He was shutdown and delirious a week. He is now opening up slowly.
