Meet Opie Opie’s story starts with a lot of love. He was adopted through Facebook by a 17-year-old boy who truly adored him. Because he will be leaving for the military next year, his parents made the difficult decision that Opie could not stay. Saying goodbye was heartbreaking — he cried when he left Opie with our rescue and asked us to find him a wonderful home, a promise we fully intend to honor. ❤️ Opie has been around many people and other dogs and has done well.
