Opie's Story
Meet Opie!

This poor dude has had a super rough start in this world. He was severely abused for the first 6 months of his life, so when he arrived at our rescue, everything was terrifying for him. He would drop to the floor, cry, pee, and try to hide just from making eye contact with someone.

Over the last few months, we’ve been working on his self-confidence, and he has gotten a lot better. We can now handle him without him shaking in fear. He will definitely need a family who understands his past and continues to build him up with positive reinforcement training. And they’ll be rewarded in return with a loving and wonderful dog!

He gets along with all dogs and has been great with older kids. He is just a pup who can easily be trained, and we just know he’ll be a great companion!
