Ophelia's Story

Meet Ophelia!!! The SWEETEST girl around!!!

On February 19th we received a heartbreaking plea to help a puppy found in horrible condition on the streets of Detroit. Her finder originally thought she had been hit by a car but upon full examination at the emergency vet we found out that she had actually been abused by humans and had chemical burns covering her entire body.

Covered in chemical burns, she greeted us with love and kisses, despite her awful pain. Today she is a happy, healthy and silly puppy who has decided life is officially worth celebrating. This girl has healed with so much courage and sweetness that it’s impossible not to adore her.

Ophelia is all puppy joy. She loves peanut butter, playing with toys, chewing on bones, and being right next to her people. She is smart, food motivated, and nearly completely potty trained. She is also very active and is always ready for some fun.

She does great with other dogs and is curious but safe with cats. She would do best with older kids because she gets a little puppy mouthy when she is excited. She is resilient, affectionate, and full of personality.

Ophelia is ready for her forever family. She has survived the worst and grown into the best. If you want a dog who will make you laugh, keep you moving, and love you with her whole heart, this is the girl for you.

*4-5 months old
*Spayed, UTD on vaccines
*Microchipped
*Cat Friendly
*Kid Friendly
*Dog Friendly
*Potty Trained

Adoption Fee: $350

Application:
https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application
