OPAL's Story

Due to her active youngness - a fenced in yard and doggie playmates near her age is a top priority. She hasn't been around outside cats since March, so not sure how she is around cats anymore.

Loves water - dunks her feet in the water bowls, "swims" in mud puddles in the yard.

Opal -Per the vet (4/29/26) is HW negative & weighs almost 30#.

Currently her shoulders are now at knee level. Loves to give smoochies and really loves getting hugs and belly rubs.

Vet said she has Australian Shepard in her, possibly Border Collie. Opal's mama is a smaller frame German Shepard mix. We do not know the breed of the dad as it was a stray and quickly fled.

Opal, is a sparkling gem of a puppy with a brave and adventurous spirit! She can be quite mischievous, but is starting to listen & come back with a quick whistle. Just loves to run and play & be loved on by humans & her dog family!

She loves to give kisses. Basic commands - sit - knows how to go to her crate to be fed., housetrained. Loves belly rubs, and hugs from her foster. Basically quiet, but belly crawls when nervous, but just so loveable.

With one pale blue eye that catches your attention, this little girl is full of life and fun.

Opal is friendly, playful, and always up for a good time. She's curious about the world around her and approaches life with an open heart and a playful attitude.

Opal is also incredibly smart and affectionate, and she loves people of all ages,
especially teenagers who smother her with love. She gets along well with other dogs, so she'd be happy to join a family that already has a furry friend.

This independent and funny little pup is ready to bring joy and laughter to her forever home. Could that be with you?

I am very smart - I can semi walk on a leash but I really pull at first. I still get a bit timid, so sometimes I crawl instead of walking.
