OPAL's Story
Opal -Per the vet (4/29/26) is HW negative & weighs almost 30#. She needs a bit more confidence; gain a little more weight; but will grow a few inches in the next month or two. Currently her shoulders are below knee level. Loves to give smoochies and really loves getting hugs and belly rubs.

Vet said she has Australian Shepard in her. Opal's mama is a smaller frame German Shepard mix. We do not know the breed of the dad as it was a stray and quickly fled.

Opal, is a sparkling gem of a puppy with a brave and adventurous spirit! She can be quite mischievous, but is starting to listen & come back with a quick whistle. Just loves to run and play & be loved on by humans!

She loves to give kisses. Still on the thin side, but now with a new foster things are improving. Next step is basic commands. She can sit - knows how to sit in her crate to be fed. Loves belly rubs, and hugs from her foster. Basically quiet, not one to rush to be the front runner when her siblings rush to investigate. Belly crawls when nervous, but just so loveable.

With one pale blue eye that catches your attention, this little girl is full of life and fun.

Opal is friendly, playful, and always up for a good time. She's curious about the world around her and approaches life with an open heart and a playful attitude.

Opal is also incredibly smart and affectionate, and she loves people of all ages,
especially teenagers who smother her with love. She gets along well with other dogs, so she'd be happy to join a family that already has a furry friend.

This independent and funny little pup is ready to bring joy and laughter to her forever home. Could that be with you?

I am very smart - I can semi walk on a leash without, but I still get a bit timid, so sometimes I crawl instead of walking.
