Opal's Story
Opal is a 3 year old female pittie mix who came to us as a stray. This short-stack girl weighs 69 pounds and shows signs of being housebroken. Opal adores her time spent with staff and volunteers. She knows how to sit and seems to be treat motivated. Overall she’s just excited about life! Opal is strong on a leash and is working on perfecting her leash manners. She hasn’t been tested with other animals—a meet and greet with any existing dogs in a potential new home will be required to ensure a good fit. Opal does seem to have some allergies (not uncommon for her breed) and will need an adopter willing to help her manage any allergy issues that may arise.
