Opal's Story

Hi, I’m Opal!

I’m almost a year old, and I’ve already been through quite a lot for such a young girl. I was rescued off the streets of Dallas all by myself and eventually thought I had found my forever home. Unfortunately, a few months ago I was returned because my dad’s work schedule became too busy for me.

So here I am, hoping my next home really will be forever.

I’m still a puppy and haven’t had a lot of training or consistency yet, so I’m looking for someone who will be patient with me while I continue learning. The good news? I’m already **crate trained and potty trained!** I also love playing with other dogs and would be happy to have a canine friend.

I can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but once I realize I’m safe, my sweet side comes out. Give me a little time and I’ll be ready to curl up next to you for all the cuddles.

I’m scheduled to be spayed in about a month, but I’m ready to start looking for the family who will finally choose me for good.

I’ve had enough changes in my first year of life.

I’m scheduled to be spayed in about a month, but I’m ready to start looking for the family who will finally choose me for good.

I’ve had enough changes in my first year of life. Now I’m ready for my forever.
