Opal's Story
Opal is one of a litter of mixed breed puppies that were born in our program on New Year's Day, 2018. Their mother Ruby is a purebred female Weimaraner who came to rescue from one of our shelter partners, where she had entered as a stray. Ruby arrived more than halfway through her pregnancy. She settled into her foster home and gave birth to five healthy puppies. Ruby and her male puppy were adopted into the same adoptive home.<br/><br/>Opal is a very sweet, playful and loving girl; she loves to cuddle with her foster family and play with the other dogs in her foster home. She is all black with a white marking on her chest.
