Opal's Story
Opal is an approximately 50 lb scruffy mix ready for her forever home. She does need to
gain some weight, so her healthy weight will likely be around 60-65 lbs.

Opal is a total sweetheart. She relaxes well in a crate and does well with other dogs her size. She LOVES to play with other dogs. She can be a little forward in her play style, so needs similarly exuberant dog friends. We have noticed that though Opal does reasonably well on walks, she has a strong prey drive, so she needs a home without cats or other small animals - but she does love dogs and could be happy in a home with dogs.

Opal has learned sit, touch, heel, leave it and loose leash walking, she's improving steadily in her leash reactivity. She's house broken, but can get nervous and need some extra walks to go outdoors.

Opal's a great work from home companion, but still needs to work through anxiety about being home on her own. She's sweet and relaxed at home and naps happily. She loves to play with toys and wrestle with her human, and she's always up for cuddles! (AM)
