Onyx is a 4 month old, 15 lb puppy who has already overcome more than most dogs her age. Her early life was very difficult. She spent the first two months confined to a small crate and was suffering from mange, but she has come through it all with a gentle, loving spirit.<br/><br/>Onyx is a Sato, which is a Puerto Rican street dog. Satos are known for being resilient, intelligent, and deeply loyal once they feel safe. Now healthy and thriving, Onyx is learning what it means to be a cherished family pet. She does well with dogs, cats, and kids, and she is crate, leash, and potty trained. <br/><br/>She can be shy at first and may need a little time to warm up, but once she does, her sweetness truly shines. Onyx craves affection and loves being close to her people.
