Onyx's Story

This little spitfire is Onyx. She looks like a Rottweiler, but she is in a little mini body. She only weighs about 45 pounds. We are guessing her to be about a year old. She is super sweet and friendly. She’s very active and loves to play with the other dogs. She’s crate trained and housebroken and she will definitely let you know when she has to go outside. She can be a bit vocal when she is in need of something. She does fine with cats.

Onyx does have a slightly deformed back foot. Our vet does not know if it is a birth defect or something happened to her when she was younger. It is a bit splayed, and her pad is all connected. She has no issues with it whatsoever. It does not cause her any pain and it certainly does not slow down. Her other issue is a damaged trachea. Our vet evaluated it, and feels that it was due to being tied outside with a too tight collar or one that got twisted. When she gets over excited, or you are taking her for a walk, it may cause her to cough a bit. It does not bother her at all. She would be a good candidate for a harness for walks.

Onyx is spayed, HW checked, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. She is currently on flea/tick/HW preventative.

For more information, please contact tamjov9@aol.com. Please do not call or text. There is no one available to take a phone call.
