Onyx

Onyx was found as an injured stray. He has had a bumpy road, moving from foster home to boarding facility to new boarding facility and new foster home. This roller coaster journey was the only way we could keep him out of a shelter (foster volunteers are hard to find!). <br/><br/>When he feels secure in his home, with his family, Onyx is INCREDIBLY affectionate, quiet as well as easy going in and out of his crate. Onyx, however, experiences high stress in boarding facilities and needs more time to decompress than his last foster home could offer. <br/><br/>He is currently in a board and train program while we seek his forever family or foster family. We are determined to save Onyx. <br/><br/>We recommend that Onyx be the only dog in a home. But, he would truly make such a loving companion for the right family.
