Meet Luffy, a classic, lovable 2-month-old puppy who approaches life like it's one big adventure made just for him. He may have applications in progress, but is currently available. <br/><br/>Curious about everything and everyone, Luffy is always ready to explore his world. While he can sometimes be a little startled by loud noises or brand-new environments (he is still a baby, after all!), his brave and playful spirit always shines through. Luffy absolutely loves romping around with his foster siblings, but he's also perfectly happy entertaining himself with a toy when they're not in the mood to play. He's incredibly sweet, affectionate, and happiest when he's right in the middle of the action with his humans. If there's something going on, Luffy wants a front-row seat, preferably in your lap!<br/><br/>Like any young puppy, Luffy is still learning about boundaries. He doesn't quite understand that other dogs may want personal space during mealtime or when they're playing with a favorite toy. He'll happily bounce right up to join in! This is very typical puppy behavior, but his future family should be ready to continue teaching him polite dog manners as he grows.<br/><br/>Training Progress:<br/><br/><br/> <br/> Crate Training: Doing well! He may cry for up to about 30 minutes when first settling in, but he does calm down and relax.<br/> <br/> <br/> Potty Training: A work in progress, as expected for his age.<br/> <br/> <br/> Basic Training: In progress. He already knows his name and understands “no.”<br/> <br/><br/><br/>Luffy is looking for a family ready for all the fun, chaos, cuddles, and commitment that come with raising a puppy. With patience, consistency, and love, he's going to grow into an incredible companion. If you're ready for a sweet, spunky sidekick who believes he's the star of the show (and honestly... he might be), Luffy can't wait to meet you!<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.<br/><br/>STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs. We encourage interested individuals to get approved prior to searching as it helps expedite the process. A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application.
