He may take a moment to warm up, but once he does, he’s all in—especially if you’re willing to throw a ball. Fetch is his absolute favorite game, and he proudly brings the ball right back every single time.<br/><br/>Olyver does best with calm, respectful dogs who match his energy and would also do just fine in a home with a feline friend. He’d be great with kids too, particularly ones who enjoy tossing a ball and don’t mind a snuggle buddy at bedtime.<br/><br/>This handsome guy is fully potty trained and doesn’t need to be crated when left alone—he’s perfectly content quietly napping on the couch while you’re away. He enjoys going for walks and is wonderful on leash, never pulling and happy to stroll at your pace.<br/><br/>At approximately 7 years old, Olyver still has great energy but also knows how to relax and enjoy the cozy life. True to his dachshund roots, he loves burrowing under the covers and will happily keep you warm all night long.<br/><br/>Olyver would thrive as an only dog or with a laid-back canine companion.
