OLLIE - LOCATED IN MAINE's Story
Meet OLLIE — A Sweet Boy Still Searching for His Forever Home!

Sometimes life takes unexpected turns, and unfortunately, due to a change in his family’s home dynamics, sweet OLLIE is being returned to Calebs Opus.

At just 10 months old, this handsome, distinguished pup is 43 pounds and still very much a puppy with so much love to give and a whole lifetime ahead of him. He’s a sweet, social boy who deserves the opportunity to find a loving, committed forever home.

Here’s what we know about OLLIE!

Cats: OLLIE currently lives with two cats and has done wonderfully with them. He respects their boundaries and has never had any reported issues.

Dogs: OLLIE does well with other dogs! He can be a little rambunctious when first meeting new friends, but he settles down quickly. After all, he’s still a puppy!

Training: OLLIE is crate trained and has attended puppy classes, where he learned basic manners, as well as a board-and-train program. He’s also had exposure to invisible fence and e-collar training.

Personality: OLLIE is a friendly, outgoing young boy who has enjoyed getting out and about, meeting new people and dogs, and experiencing new environments. He’s adapted well to these experiences.

Still Learning: At only 10 months old, OLLIE is still learning the ropes! He can be a little jumpy when excited, so a family willing to continue working with him using positive reinforcement and consistency would be wonderful.

Health: OLLIE is up to date on his vaccinations and heartworm testing.

The truth is, we don’t have a lengthy story to tell about OLLIE. He’s simply a good young dog who still has some growing up to do. He needs patience, guidance, consistency, and, most importantly, a family who understands that adopting a puppy means helping him become the wonderful adult dog he’s meant to be.

OLLIE doesn’t need perfection. He needs commitment.

We would love nothing more than to see this sweet boy find the home where he can finally settle in, continue learning, and be loved for the rest of his life.

If you think OLLIE might be the missing piece of your family, please reach out to Calebs Opus. And if you can’t adopt, sharing his story might help him find the person who’s been waiting for him.

Could you be OLLIE’s Family? Please go to www.calebsopus.org for an application!

All dogs are spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. Note: Caleb's Opus is licensed to adopt in the State of Maine.
