Ollie's Story

Meet Ollie B! Ollie is a 6 month old blue heeler. He is microchipped and neutered, as well as up to date on all his vaccinations and preventatives.

Ollie is the best of both worlds, cuddly and affectionate, yet doesn’t mind keeping himself occupied with a good bone or interesting toy. Ollie is always up for an adventure. He walks well on a leash and loves to visit dog friendly stores and breweries! With his enormous ears, he gets lots of attention. Ollie does well with other dogs, but because he is a puppy can be a little pesky at times. He would do best with another younger dog in the household, or he would be quite content to be an only dog as well. A home with cats is not ideal for him. He has met some children and has done well with them, but he is still young and learning some manners so older kids would probably be best!

Ollie is crate trained and house broken. He knows some basic commands but is very eager to learn and he is highly food motivated. He knows “no” “sit” “wait” “crate” and has decent recall. Ollie is not fit for apartment life as he does bark at outside commotion and loves to let you know how excited he is when you come home from work. Overall, Ollie is your typical young cattle dog! He is goofy and affectionate and will always be at your side. With some continued structure and training, he will make an excellent companion.

Ollie is being fostered in Belfast, Pennsylvania. We would prefer to meet with potential adopters.

If you are interested in adopting Ollie please fill out and application on https://www.acdra.org/adoption-application

If you have any further questions about Ollie please email his foster at Jfazekas18@gmail.com
