Ollie's Story

Some dogs never really stop being part of the Lighthouse family. Ollie was adopted from Lighthouse Animal Shelter about two years ago, and were now helping his family find him a new home through this courtesy post.

Ollie needs to be rehomed through no fault of his own. His family loves him and wants to make sure he finds the right home where he can continue to be happy, loved, and part of a family.
Ollie is a 5-year-old mixed breed weighing about 60 pounds. He is a loving, affectionate, people-oriented guy who absolutely loves chin scratches and belly rubs. He knows some basic commands and would love a family who can keep him active and involved.

Ollie would do best as the only dog, or potentially with a patient dog of similar size who enjoys a rough-and-tumble play style. He would also do best with older children and an active family who can give him plenty of exercise, attention, and love.

This is a direct adoption from Ollies family—he is not currently at the shelter.
