Ollie's Story

Ollie is a sweet, easy dog who has quickly adjusted to living in a home. We have been fostering Ollie for a while now and she is a delight to have around. When she was a tiny puppy, someone kicked one of her eyes out. But she sees fine from her other eye and it hasn't affected her sweet nature. Almost four years old, Ollie is housetrained, doesn’t chew on things, is not super high energy, and mostly just enjoys lying around wherever we are, hanging out. She gets along with other dogs but does not particularly need to have a sibling. Ollie is a somewhat large girl, but don’t let that put you off. She has no interest in jumping on you or pulling you down the street or really causing a hard time. She makes us laugh as we watch her exploring the creature comforts of a dog bed or a favorite bone or just going on a little walk. She would make a great companion for a single person or an older person who has a fairly quiet home. If you think she might be a good fit for you, we would be happy for you to come and meet her!
