Ollie's Story
Ollie and his siblings were found on the street in Puerto Rico. Their mom had been hit by a car, but luckily a wonderful woman saved the babies from the side of the road and reached out to us -- of course we were happy to help! A kind family heading back to Denver was willing to take an unusual piece of carry on, and that's how Ollie made it to Colorado!

We are quite smitten with this gentle boy; what a cuddle bug! He loves all things a happy puppy should: toys, people, other dogs, playing and snuggling! He has a very mellow personality - while he certainly enjoys having fun, he's not too high energy. A good walk and a play session leaves him ready to cuddle on the couch with his humans.

Ollie is about 90% potty trained, which is wonderful for such a young guy!

While he wasn't initially thrilled by the prospect of a crate, he's since learned to love it, and can sleep the whole night in his crate. In general, he is a quick study with rules, routines, and tricks - he acclimates easily, and really responds to cues from his humans. He also is learning from observing his foster siblings, so we know he's a bit of a smarty pants, too!

Ollie is not phased by children, and fortunately does not seem particularly destructive, which is unusual for a teething puppy! Given his age and temperament, we think he'll get along with just about anything given proper introductions.

If you are looking for a gentle cuddle bug - look no further. Ollie is your perfect match :)

He is up to date on his vaccinations and is neutered and microchipped, so he's 100% ready to be adopted!

Usually, satos (homeless dogs from Puerto Rico) are a mix of many breeds, some chihuahua, some pit and you name it! By they are always loving and grateful.
We do not know what breed Ollie is, possibly lab mix. We anticipate he will grow into a middle size adult, possibly around 30-40lb, but of course they do sometimes surprise us!

If you are interested in adopting this pup, please fill out the application here:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BSCO/Dog
----------------------------------------------

We ask for a $400 donation as the adoption fee, to help cover the costs of medical services and transport.
