Olivia's Story

Olivia was found roaming the neighborhood with her brothers, and now she’s looking for a forever home that understands her unique personality.

She’s dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and does great with other animals—but when it comes to people, she needs a little more time and patience. Olivia can be selective with strangers and doesn’t warm up instantly. However, with slow, respectful introductions and a calm environment, she builds trust and can become a sweet and loyal companion.

Once she’s comfortable, Olivia is a fantastic partner for all kinds of adventures. She loves long walks, biking, hiking, and lake days—she just needs a person who understands her pace and will give her the leadership and direction she needs.

Olivia would thrive in a home that’s experienced with shy or cautious dogs—someone who will advocate for her comfort, not force interactions, and let her move at her own speed. She’s not the type to be rushed, but if you give her space and security, she will show you her gentle, adventurous side.

If you’re looking for a quiet, animal-friendly pup who just needs someone to understand her boundaries and enjoys getting outside for fun activities, Olivia might be your perfect match.

CoDa Canine Obedience's Adoption Policy
We require an initial meet and greet after the applicant has filled out our application. After the meet and greet we schedule socialization days with the other dogs in the home. On these days, the adopter would drop their pets off at our facility for us to work on relationship building with the new dog being adopted. From there we then do 2 - 3 private lesson at our facility to show the new owners what their new companion has learned while being with us. We then schedule an inhome visit where we go to them with their new dog and do a lesson in the home. After that lesson we leave the dog with them and schedule a follow up lesson 2 weeks after the dog went home.
