Hi, I'm Oliver! And I have a LOT to tell you! <br/><br/>I'm a handsome 5-ish-year-old German Shepherd looking for my forever family. I'm playful, affectionate, and have a few very important things you should know about me.<br/><br/>First of all, I LOVE to play fetch! Throw the ball and I'll be ready to go! When playtime is over, though, I have another favorite activity: cuddling with my soft, squeaky toys in my crate. Yes, I said cuddling. A guy can be both playful AND a snuggle bug. <br/><br/>I'm also a big fan of:<br/> Kids—even the little ones!<br/> Butt scratches (seriously, they're the best!)<br/> Bones with cream cheese—because plain bones are simply not fancy enough. <br/> Soft, squeaky toys for cuddling<br/> Talking! I'm what you might call a little chatty. I have opinions, and I'm not afraid to share them!<br/><br/>I'm great on a leash, although I am a strong boy, so I'll need someone who can handle my strength. <br/><br/>I'm also crate trained, and my crate is my happy place when I have my favorite squeaky toy to keep me company.<br/><br/>Now for my very important "fun fact": I have BLACK SPOTS ON MY TONGUE!<br/><br/>Yep, they're real. No fancy doggy tongue art required. They make me extra special and give me a little something that sets me apart from the crowd.<br/><br/>I'm looking for a home where I'll be the only four-legged child. No other dogs or cats for me, please. I'd much rather have all the love, attention, toys, and cream-cheese bones for myself!<br/><br/>I do have a couple of special dietary needs. I take an antacid every day and eat kibble with ONLY beef canned food mixed in. It's a small part of taking care of me, and my future family will get all the details they need to keep me happy and healthy.<br/><br/>I'm a playful, loving boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. <br/><br/>And if you're not local, that's okay! For the right family and circumstance, I can be transported to another state, with transportation arranged by my rescue mom.
