OLIVER's Story

MEET OLIVER! He is about 7 years old and weighs about 12lbs. Oliver has had a crappy life. He was spotted roaming out in the country. A lady was leaving food out for him and asked rescuers for help. He was in rough shape. His skin was red and raw and he was dirty and they finally trapped him after a month! Once the rescuer got him home, she opened the trap and he came right out, got in her lap, and gave her some kisses. (he is known to kiss strangers on the first date!) Oliver's hair grew back and he looks great! This fun little boy loves fetch and tug of war, and would love a backyard to run around in. Oliver is also a cuddler, and loves to be next to his people. He’s potty pad trained and crate trained! This smart boy even has tricks to show off! He knows how to sit and lay down on command! Oliver likes other dogs so a home with another small, playful pup for companionship is ideal! Want to meet this sweet boy? We schedule private meet and greets with approved adopters. Please email us for an application. We are a foster based program and we all work full time and are all volunteers. We DO NOT do out-of-state adoptions due to required home/fence checks and we prefer to do proper dog introductions with other dogs to make sure it is a good fit before adopting.
