He is a medium size dog weighing 34lbs and he is considered full grown. He has an outstanding personality and will cuddle on the couch on a rainy day or go for a hike when you're looking to be adventurous. Oliver is the last of his litter of 10 puppies and no longer has his siblings to play with. He would do best in a home with another dog as he really enjoys his foster friends companionship. He's great with both large and small breed dogs but because he's a puppy; he might play a little rough with a smaller dog. Oliver needs training to be the best boy he can be. Adopting a New Dachshund Family Member As every dachshund owner knows, there is no better pet experience than owning a doxie! They are loyal to their person, they are comical, spunky, stubborn, smart and loving. And most of all, each one posseses such a unique and special personality that you can't help but fall in love right back. We do have some requirements to go through our adoption process; they are as follows: We require that you own your home. We are no longer processing applications from renters. We require that you have a secure, completely fenced back yard. And we require that you currently or have owned pets in the past with the information of your current veterinarian.
