Meet Oliver. He is a senior Maltese (born 2013) who still looks like a puppy. He's housetrained and good with cats and other dogs. He's a little cautious at first, but then he will be your best friend and follow you around. Oliver loves to sleep in his foster mom's bed at night and snuggle!<br/><br/>Oliver is nervous around younger children. He would be good in a home with older kids (age 13+). He is on prescription kidney food. He also has Cushings disease and is on 10mg Vetoryl per day.<br/><br/>The suggested adoption donation for Oliver is $200. We are a 501c3 organization which means that your donation may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Your donation goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our animals in rescue, as well as providing supportive services to animals in homes.<br/><br/>Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dog's foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.<br/><br/>Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
