Oliver's Story
COURTESY POST

This beautiful boy is in need of a new home. His name is Oliver and he's about 6 or 7 years old. His family lives in town, and Oliver doesn't get the kind of exercise and stimulation a cattle dog needs, and they think he would be happier in a more rural setting, maybe even with a job.

Oliver is neutered, up to date on vaccines, lives with another male and a female dog, and also cats. He can be a little spicy with the cats wanting to play, but he's never hurt anybody. He chased some chickens once so they just don't have him around chickens. He's seen goats and doesn't seem to react much to them. He also can demonstrate a little dominance when meeting new male dogs. He has kind of a rough play style that isn't for every dog. He loves people and has been around all ages of kids. He's maybe a little too exuberant for really small children.

Oliver would love to have a new home and maybe a job, more exercise and space. He's a good boy, and could make a wonderful addition to a family. No adoption fee for the right adapter. Located in Cortez, CO. Please contact Chelsea at (970) 759-0868.
