Olive's Story

Meet Olive! Olive is our real-life teddy bear. This girl was found out in the woods with her her 7 puppies. She did a great job caring for them despite being outside in winter. The puppies all survived and have been finding their forever families. Olive has received her vaccinations, spay surgery, and microchip. She is up to date on prevention. She is heartworm positive but has already started her treatment. We are doing the "slow kill" treatment method for her heart worms so she can be adopted now and her recheck will be in about 9 months. Olive is fostered with other dogs and LOVES her furry siblings. She really enjoys snuggles on a soft dog bed or couch. She is low energy and easy going. She is still working on being left alone, so her ideal home would be someone that has another dog so she isn't always alone when the humans are gone. The Bridge Between Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

We require approved applications before potential adopters can meet any of our pets, (unless we are at a public event with adoptable animals). Our adoption process is as follows: the first step is to submit an application on our website in the "adopt" tab. Then we will need to receive any veterinary records for current or previous pets. Once those are received, we reach out to references, and then set up a home visit and meet and greet for the pet the potential adopter is interested in.
