Olive's Story

Our longest Godbey Creek Canine resident, Ms. Olive, is deserving of a loving forever home. Olive is unique in a way and is looking for a more specific home than the rest of her rescue friends.

We are looking for a single female, a female couple or a single male home. While Olive has done great during her meet and greets and left home with several into foster to adopt, each time she returned for the same reason - - guarding the female from the man in the household.

Olive is the most fun loving, loyal companions you could want. She's loaded with personality and adores her primary handlers, is great off leash and will never leave your side. She also has excellent recall and knows several commands including ‘sit, down, no, stay, wait and ride'. This little cutie loves to ride in the car, is very affectionate, is adventurous and is the best helper and supervisor. She actually needs a job from her human to be perfectly content, even if it's only helping load the dishwasher, running errands, etc.

While Olive has made many canine friends at the rescue, she chooses her friends carefully and doesn't like all dogs. On the other hand, she's does very good with cats.

Olive's medical package includes her spay, microchip, deworm, a negative heartworm test and she is on flea & tick as well as heartworm prevention. She has had her Bordetella, rabies and parvo/distemper.

If you are interested in this special girl, please submit an application.
