Olive's Story

Olive is gently learning what life outside the shelter is like. She can be a little timid at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality begins to shine. When Olive trusts you, she melts right into your arms and clearly just wants to be loved.

Olive is both house trained and crate trained, which has helped her settle nicely as she builds confidence in a home environment. She is looking for a patient, kind forever home where she can continue growing at her own pace. She would do best with people who understand that gentle souls bloom with time and consistency.

If you are searching for a loving companion with a soft heart and quiet charm, Olive might be the perfect addition to your family.

Pitt Friends's Adoption Policy
Thank you for considering adopting from Pitt Friends! The first step in our adoption process is filling out our application, which you can find at pittfriends.com. If your application is approved, the foster family will reach out to you directly to arrange a meet and greet at a mutually agreeable time and place. We do not have a shelter facility. All of our animals live in foster care full time, in the homes of our volunteers. Our adoption fee is $200 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, and any other medical care that is required prior to adoption. A home check and vet reference are required prior to adoption. Each dog has different needs, so if one particular dog is not the right fit for your home, we may be able to recommend another that is a better match!
