Meet Olive!<br/><br/>Olive is a beautiful 12-year-old shepherd-hound mix with the classic German Shepherd look and the soulful voice of a hound. This sweet senior girl is on the shy side — when she first arrived, she would only tentatively approach people, and even then, she wasn’t always sure about accepting pets. But after about 45 minutes exploring the yard and bravely stepping inside the Lodge, Olive began to relax and warm up.<br/><br/>Olive’s gentle, timid nature means she’ll need a patient adopter who’s willing to give her time to trust and blossom. Once she feels safe, she enjoys affection, loves going on walks, and has a happy spirit that shines through. She’s spent the last 10 years living peacefully with her companion dog, Little Guy, and gets along well with other dogs.<br/><br/>She’s up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and has no major medical issues — just a little underweight and recovering beautifully from some past flea issues.<br/><br/>Olive is ready to start her next chapter with someone who understands that the best relationships are built with patience and love.
