Olive's Story

Sweet Olive was first spotted very pregnant and wandering the streets of Texas. The people who reported seeing her said she looked like she was going to give birth any day. One of our rescue partners went out to find her and when she brought her home, Olive gave birth that same day to 13 stillbirth puppies. When she was taken to the vet she was found to not only be malnourished, but she also had a tick-borne disease and an infection. Poor girl, it's no wonder her puppies didn't survive.

But Olive's story has a happy twist - she is now completely recovered from both the infection and the tick-borne disease, and she is has gained weight so she is a happy, healthy pup these days. Now Olive just needs to find her forever home which will complete her happy ending. She is a very sweet and resilient girl who loves kids and gets along great with other dogs. Please be the one to apply to give this sweet girl her well deserved dream home and family.

- Personality: friendly, resilient, happy
- Good with: people of all ages (including kids), and dogs.
